This is the best place to start because you get a never-ending coupon for all the other courses. The Journey is a well-rounded group of lessons. If you are new to rug hooking, start with The Basics course. Beginner and experienced rug hookers will benefit.

These courses are a deep dive into a particular topic, color planning, dyeing or making a footstool. The smaller courses cover a variety of topics.

- Enrollment is Jan and Feb for 1 full year of individual instruction
- Class go from March through Feb of the next year

I teach practical, real-world rug hooking methods in a friendly, encouraging environment. You can learn at your own pace from home, revisit lessons as often as you need, and get help when you feel stuck.

It gives you the broadest access to lessons, live help, community, and inspiration. From there, you can add specialty courses like Practical Color Planning or the Virtual Dye Class as your interests grow.
If you are ready for more personalized help, VOW offers the deepest level of guidance and support. Enrollment for that program happens in January – February each year. I will sometimes offer a half year program in August.
