My Projects hooked at Sauder Village 2009
I did not feel well during the week and it showed in my hooking, but I thought I would share it with you anyway.
I hooked both projects from my texture scrap bin only. Most of the colors seem quite dark. I think that was a reflection of how I felt. I began the project on the right later in the week after being inspired by Diane’s hooking. I drew Jackson in the middle of a large piece of rugwarp and just started hooking with no real plan in mind.
These projects will probably be put aside as I plan for the last camps of the year in September and get back to hooking on the room-sized rug.
Hi Cindi – it may be slightly melancholic, colourwise, but the portrait is wonderful! I’m intrigued by the 2nd piece – it has a native North American feeling.

I purchased the new 13.3″ unibody laptop and 2 months ago the 24″ imac. The imac is easier for me to see with my wonky eyes. I love the laptop. It replaced a 12″ Dell. Today the battery in the laptop is sick and at the shop for replacement, but they say this is the first one they saw. I was only getting about 3 hours of work time. Luckily, Apple stands behind their stuff. The specialist at Apple Care was wonderful and took great care of me.
