Southern Teachers’ Workshop 2010
This post is from March 2010 and never got posted so here it is 7 months late.
Monday
Monday was wide cut textures. My color came up last. That means I got last choice on which class to take, but I would have enjoyed hooking any of the patterns today. I rarely hook a pattern without changing something. We were supposed to hook the dog with a nice rusty brown, but I saw the white textures (intended for the dog wood blossoms) and could only think about Sue Ellen’s puppy, Gladys.
I’ve never thought of English bulldogs as cuddly, but Gladys is a snuggler. Spell check does not like the word snuggler, but that is the best word to describe her. Needless to say, I fell in love.
What a cutie pie!!!!! Can’t wait to see the finished piece.
